Normally the SolidSim Updater is using the proxy settings configured as internet options in the Windows control panel (the same settings used by the Internet Explorer). This settings can now be overwritten if a different proxy server shall be used for the SolidSim Update process.

To overwrite the settings create an ASCII file named ‚Update.ini‘ within the program folder of the SolidSim Updater (normally %ProgramFiles%\SolidSim\Update) which contains the Proxy-Settings in the following format:

Proxy-IP = wwwcache.solidsim.de
Proxy-Port = 81
Proxy-User = UserName
Proxy-Password = UserPasswd
