Simulation programs that perform thermal and mass balancing in complex plant networks are now a standard tool in the field of fluid processes. Thanks to flow sheeting methods and the drag-and-drop functionality offered by these programs, time-consuming lab-scale and pilot-scale experiments can be reduced to a minimum. Solid processes, in contrast, are based on distributed state functions of great mathematical complexity and in such cases the limits of flow sheeting methods are exposed. In many cases, systems of equations are developed in Excel, but these tend to be impenetrable to anyone not involved in their development. Get to know our new and innovative system for modeling, simulation and optimization of complex solids processes We would like to welcome you between October 11th to 13th in Nuernberg/Germany during the POWTECH 2011 at our booth 8-332 in hall 8. The current economical situation requires new and cost-effective solutions for the planning, design and optimization of production processes. Production plants have to be developed in short time frame. Changing markets require quick adaptation. Energy efficiency and product quality are in focus. For fluid processes these task are addressed successfully using process simulation systems. SolidSim allows you to apply the established methods to processes in which solids are involved: Process modeling and simulation allowing for process optimization of complex solids processes.
