The SolidSim model library covers a wide range of processing units for solids processes. For the lowest level of detail generic units for the different process classes are provided (short-cut units). The detailed models have been developed by 11 university institutes from all over Germany. A list of the contibutors can be found here.
Unit Models Provided with SolidSimA screenshot showing the whole list of SolidSim unit models as of today is shown on the right - click to enlarge. The table below shows an overview of the unit operations currently contained in the SolidSim model library. If you want to know more details about the implemented models you can apply for a trial verison of SolidSim and read the description of the models in the SolidSim Help.

Model Development - Use of In-house ModelsAs add-on to the SolidSim simulation system a SolidSim Unit Model Software Developmnet Kit (SDK) is available allowing for easy and fast extension of the model library. The SDK can be used for model development in C++ and provides basic functionallities and an interface to access stream data by means of a base unit class.
