The SolidSim Database Editor has been extended by features to copy a compound, to export compound information into a compound library file and to import such files. With the Export/Import feature you can now easily exchange compound data between SolidSim users not sharing the same database.

Database Editor with new buttons

• Copy Select one of the compounds in the compound list and click on the 'Copy'-button to add a new compound to the database as exact copy of the selected one. Now you can change the properties of the added compound. Use this feature if you want to add a new compound that is quite similar to one of the existing compounds.
• Export/Import Select one or more compounds in the compounds list and click the 'Export'-button to store the compounds description in a compound library file. This file can be imported on this or a different computer using the 'Import'-button. Hence, you can use the Export/Import functionallity to exchange compound definitions with your co-workers or to backup your database before changing data. When importing compound information from a library file you will be prompted if a compound is already existing whether to replace the compound in your database or to skip the import of that compound.
